Here in Minnesota, I find myself singing “Oh the weather outside is frightful” more and more lately! If it’s cold where you are too, this gluten free recipe is sure to bring some warmth and comfort to your family this winter.
Ingredients
- 5-6 Pork Chops (up to 8 if using center cut pork chops)
- 32 oz. can Sauerkraut (drain juice)
- 1 Apple (a sweeter apple of your choice) - chopped fine
- 1/2 Red Onion - chopped fine
- 1/3-1/2 cup Honey
Instructions
Brown pork chops about 5 minutes per side. Then place in crockpot.
Drizzle the honey on top of the pork chops.
In a large bowl mix the sauerkraut, chopped apple and chopped red onion and dump this on top of the pork chops.
Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
