Gluten Free Pork Chops with Sauerkraut and Apple – Crock Pot Recipe

  • 5-6 Pork Chops (up to 8 if using center cut pork chops)
  • 32 oz. can Sauerkraut (drain juice)
  • 1 Apple (a sweeter apple of your choice) - chopped fine
  • 1/2 Red Onion - chopped fine
  • 1/3-1/2 cup Honey

Brown pork chops about 5 minutes per side. Then place in crockpot.

Drizzle the honey on top of the pork chops.

In a large bowl mix the sauerkraut, chopped apple and chopped red onion and dump this on top of the pork chops.

Cook on low for 4-5 hours.

The best part about it for you, the cook, is that you don’t have to spend all day in the kitchen preparing it! Just throw it in the crock pot and then snuggle up on the couch with your favorite book or movie – better yet, use the time to warm yourself up with a little fitness first!
